LG Arena KM900 mobile phone review
Posted by mobile-geek under Coming Soon, LG Mobile Phones, Mobile Phones By Orange, Mobile Phones By T-Mobiles, Mobiles Phones By Make, Mobiles Phones By Network, Reviews, SAFFtrack Mobiles Offers
The LG Arena is probably the best phone to be released in the first quarter of 2009. It’s a compact touchscreen phone with a breathtaking screen, a fantastic new user-friendly interface, quality looks and a massive array of features: 5 megapixel camera with autofocus & flash, 3G video calling, music player with Dolby Mobile, FM radio, A-GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, FM transmitter, 3.5mm headphone jack. Oh, and we nearly forgot to mention the 8GB memory, expandable to 40GB! It really is a stunner!
What are LG on? They are churning out five-star touchscreen phones almost as quickly as all other manufacturers put together. For this reason, we are willing to forgive them for giving their latest touchscreen phone the same name as the former NEC in Birmingham, which is now called – you guessed it – the LG Arena!

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Review
Posted by mobile-geek under Mobiles Phones By Make, Nokia Mobile Phones, Reviews
We witnessed some serious demand of touch screen phones last year. Most of the manufacturers leaned towards this market share and released their own models. It may sound strange, but until recently, the biggest manufacturer, Nokia, stood aside from the trend. During the spring however, a photo of their first touch screen phone emerged on the Internet, by the codename of Tube. All kinds of rumors about the new product had set, but the Finnish company didn’t utter a word. Later, the same phone had been spotted in the latest Batman movie, creating even more underground buzz. Nokia said that the unit has been produced exclusively for the super hero, but didn’t deny that it may become a reality.

BlackBerry® Storm™ smartphone in detail
You’d expect the BlackBerry® Storm™ smartphone to be able to send and receive emails, from various accounts. It’s a BlackBerry smartphone after all. But it has so much more to give. Take its soft-touch screen, which responds to your fingertip commands, its 3.25″ high-resolution display that brings pictures to life and its 3G connection that will have you browsing the internet at super-fast speeds. With a BlackBerry Storm smartphone you get:
High-resolution soft-touch screen
- The first thing you’ll notice with the BlackBerry Storm smartphone is its huge 3.25″ high-resolution screen (480 X 360 pixels). Turn it on and it bursts into colour – 65,000 colours to be precise. The wide-screen display gives you crystal clarity even when you’re outdoors.

Latest Nokia E71 – Review
Posted by mobile-geek under Business Mobile Phones, Mobiles Phones By Make, Nokia Mobile Phones, Reviews
The BlackBerry 8820 has been one of the best slab-style QWERTY smartphones for so long now, it’s hard to imagine anything overtaking it. Its combination of ease of use, long battery life and excellent keyboard contributed to a maximum score of 10 out of 10 when we first looked at it last August, and our opinion hasn’t changed much over that time.
But times move on, new handsets are released, and inevitably – eventually – a new champion comes along. That new champion, it would seem, is Nokia’s E71 – the long-awaited successor to the E61. Why? First, this is a simply gorgeous phone. With a solid metal rear, chrome-trimmed front and flat, almost mirror-finish screen, it’s one beautiful piece of design.

The BlackBerry® Bold™ 9000 smartphone – Review
Posted by mobile-geek under Blackberry Mobile Phones, Business Mobile Phones, Coming Soon, Mobiles Phones By Make, Reviews, Smart/PDA's Mobile Phones

World: Say hello to the RIM BlackBerry Bold. *Cue dramatic music.*
You may know it as the RIM BlackBerry 9000, but on Sunday, Research In Motion officially took the wraps off the highly anticipated smartphone, complete with a new name. The “Bold” is in reference to the smartphone’s gorgeous display, but it’s also bold in that it represents a number of new moves for the company. Oh, BlackBerry Bold, how do we love thee? Let us count the ways.
The bold and the beautiful
As we just mentioned, the device gets its name from its screen. The BlackBerry Bold features a half-VGA (480×320 pixel resolution) and a 65,000-color display. During some initial product testing, research group participants repeatedly called the screen “bold” and “brilliant.” The Brilliant moniker didn’t really jibe with the company, thus the BlackBerry Bold was born.
